Scientists report that it is very difficult to detect asteroids that pass near Earth. Fortunately, the most subtle of them are not so great and fly past the Earth.
So is the case with the BH30 asteroid, which was discovered on Sunday just hours before he passed on creepy close distance from Earth, just 40563 miles. This asteroid is estimated to range from 15 to 32.8 feet in length, which is about the size of a truck...a big truck.
This is quite a small size asteroid standards, but it also spotted the asteroid, which passed very close to Earth. In September 2016 the RB1 asteroid passed at a distance of 24 thousand miles from the surface of the planet, being almost as close as a satellite in a geostationary orbit.
This is the third asteroid passing very close to Earth. We do not expect that by October there will be asteroids that will be even closer. In October TC4 celestial body can pass more than two times closer. Again, we didn't expect BH30 and other nearby asteroids, sneak up on us every week, so keep your eyes open.
