In London, the suspects poured acid individuals in five separate attacks. The police handles all of the 5 incidents that occurred during the approximately 70 minutes. Four attacks occurred in the London borough of khaki, but in Islington - another.
One suspect, described as a teenager, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and robbery. He is currently in custody at East London police station.
At least one of the attacks, the injured person of one victim described as "change of life". The other three injury victims "are not considered life-threatening". All 5 victims were taken to hospital. At least two of the 5 incidents the suspects stole the scooter of the victims. One of the other victims also reported on robbery.
In the first and fourth attacks, the victims reported that they were in their vehicles when near them was approached a second moped with two male riders. On behalf of the victims was thrown a corrosive substance.
According to the report issued by the London police service in March, attacks grow in London. In 2014, there were 166 incidents that rose to 261 in 2015 and 454 in 2016. Corrosive acid is still relatively easy to acquire in local everyday shops throughout the UK.
