In the night of 4 August in Dubai was a fire at 86-story Torch tower tower (tower "the Torch", also known as the Marina Torch).
Civil defense of Dubai, said that the fire burned no less than 2hrs before firefighters began to extinguish the building. Information on victims did not arrive, according to The Dubai Media Office. In the video posted on social networks, you can see how the fire is spreading to one side of the 86-storey buildings and falling debris. Tower the Torch is close to the Dubai Marina.
Witness Samer Fathalla said that the fire covered 30-40 residences. He said two cars in the Parking lot next to the building was damaged by falling debris. Video posted on social networks from the building across the street, shows the arriving fire trucks and debris covering the street. The flame in the video appears to be shoots of parts of buildings on the middle floors.
"Torch" was the site of a massive fire in February 2015. The fire covered several floors, at least on three sides of the iconic building. Deaths and injuries were reported and the fire was extinguished in 3 hours after the fire started, said the Office of civil defense. The cause of the fire in 2015 is unknown.
