Whale stranded in the river mouth, was injured
Keith, stuck in the mouth of the river in Khabarovsk Krai, as it turned out, already got injured because of being in shallow water. This was reported today by fgbu "the Amur region Protected". The length of the whale is thirteen meters.
The whale was at the mouth of the river, which flows from the lake called Big, on the island of Big Shantar. It happened on the days when the river was a night tide. According to the assumptions of the whale was in this mouth, spasai from a flock of killer whales. But since the mouth is narrow, the whale may not in it or out to the lake or turn around. Rescuers think about how to save the animal. While there is no tide, the poor animal sprinkled with water from a special pump fire.
On the tail of the whale has a small bleeding wound, which is not dangerous for his life. it is obvious that he received the wound when he gets his big tail on the bottom of the mouth. Yesterday Keith moved to the lake at two hundred meters, and during the night high tide was expected that the whale will be released.
The Shantar Islands are an archipelago in the sea of Okhotsk, an area two and a half thousand kilometers. Here dwells a lot of birds, seals, bowhead whales are often spotted in this area.
