The singer will star in television, print and in-shop campaigns for the cosmetics giant. It has not been revealed which line of make-up she will be promoting.
"Taylor is beautiful and inspirational with an effortless-chic style, making her the perfect person to represent a new, luxurious collection of products debuting on CoverGirl next year," CoverGirl general manager Vince Hudson told WWD.
Taylor, 20, is thrilled with her new role, saying it is a dream come true. She loves experimenting with make-up, and hopes to use her placement with the cosmetics house to show her fans how exciting altering your look can be.
"I like a natural look in my everyday life, when I?m going to the grocery store or hanging out at my house in Nashville," she said. "When I go onstage, I get to play with my look. So you get to play around with all these different characters, and I think that`s one of my favourite things about make-up - you can put on a new character."
