The 26-year-old Dutch supermodel and the British comedian, 38, got married at London`s luxurious Claridge`s hotel on Sunday. They spent £80,000 on the ceremony and reception and an after-party at Shoreditch House.
To get guests in the mood to party, David and Lara hired an all-female synchronised swimming team to do a sexy routine. The svelte ladies donned plunging gold swimsuits to duck and dive in the venue`s rooftop pool to the delight of the couple`s 200 guests.
After the display, partygoers enjoyed canapés, pink champagne and Grey Goose vodka cocktails.
David and Lara spent the whole night hand-in-hand and gazing into each other`s eyes.
"We have never seen David so happy. He barely left Lara`s side all night," a guest told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. "He led her around the room showing her off and thanking everyone for coming.
"David and Lara seemed so in love. As they were dancing they were gazing into one another`s eyes and had their arms wrapped around each other. It was a perfect day - absolutely stunning from morning to night."
At 10pm, David gave a speech and 100 white balloons were released into the sky. At midnight the newlyweds left for their honeymoon, thought to be in Paris, leaving their guests to enjoy the party. Many stayed until the early hours of the morning, even ordering 20 pizzas once the bride and groom were gone.
The event was attended by a host of celebrities including Sir Elton John, fashion designer Tom Ford, former Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell, pop star Natalie Imbruglia, former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher and comedians Russell Brand and James Corden.
David proposed to Lara with a £100,000 vintage Tiffany & Co ring during a holiday in Los Angeles earlier this year.
