The muscular actor - who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the vampire movie franchise - admits carrying around Kristen was tough, despite her being relatively light.
He told MTV News: "There`s a scene where I?m carrying Kristen, and it`s also, like four pages of dialogue.
"We actually had plans, a rig that was basically going to carry her, and I was just going to pretend that I was carrying her. We got there on the day, and the rig didn`t look very natural. They were like, `What are we going to do?` and I`m like, `I`ll just carry her. She`s like, what, 110 lbs? It`s no big deal!`
"We filmed that scene all day long, did the wide shot, did my close-up, did her close-up, the back shot, everything. It was so hard. ... It was painful."
Taylor recently confessed he has a hard time on the set of the movie being mean to fellow male lead actor Robert Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen.
He said: "I had a scene or two in `New Moon` where I was able to work with Rob, and I was really excited to work with him for `Eclipse`. The hardest thing I found about working with Rob is I usually have to hit him in the scenes, and it is difficult.
"He is such a funny, nice guy. It is literally like we are doing a scene where we are yelling and screaming at each other, and he is slapping my shoulder and I`m shoving him off me. We are screaming. We are spitting in each other`s faces. Then as soon as they call, `Cut,` we just bust out laughing. It is really hard to be mean to Rob."
