The `I Need You` group said they have met the Girls Aloud member - who has recently embarked on a solo career - on a few occasions and would love to work on a song with her.
Tulisa - who is the group`s main singer - told OK! Magazine: "Yeah, we`d make a beat for Cheryl. I`ve met her once or twice. I saw her and I went, `Aw, I love you`, and she was like, `Aw, I love you too,` and then we had a little hug."
Tulisa also talked about the hip hop group`s writing sessions with Take That singer Gary Barlow, and how she felt his laid back approach contrasted nicely with the group`s hyperactive main man Dappy.
She said: "Gary wasn`t scared at all, he`s so chilled out and proper laid back - a total contrast to hyperactive Dappy.
"Everything he does is kind of slow and really chilled and you sit down and you have a chat with him and he`ll say, `you sounded really good there, you have a good voice, you do`. He never gets overly excited, it`s really funny. He`s such a lovely guy."
N-Dubz next single `Best Behaviour` will be released on October 3.
