ROBERT PATTINSON believes his music will be famous once he`s dead.
A big claim from a bloke obsessed with tragic NIRVANA hero KURT COBAIN. The difference is, he still hasn`t released a song he`s written let alone music anyone would like.
But like his immortal character Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, R-Patz thinks his hooks and riffs will live on.
The actor said: "I am sure I`ll be one of those artists that people don`t pay any attention to while I`m alive, and when I am dead people will go yeah, man, that was a work of art."
Rob, who claims his guitar is his best pal, has knocked back a load of record companies as he wants to keep strumming as his hobby.
He explained: "I see myself playing in a rundown blues bar, with about three people drowning their sorrows. I play according to my mood, and sometimes that can come across as very depressing in music."
He even rejected a recording deal with X Factor boss SIMON COWELL, who told him to name his price.
Robert revealed: "I love Simon, I think he is a great personality and I think his shows are entertaining.
"He is a clever guy and he created artists that he knows the public will like, that`s why I don`t think he could ever launch my music career.
"I am selfish with my music. I get my guitar and I play what I like, but the problem is I don`t think many other people would like it."
Perhaps R-Patz fancies himself as the next EVA CASSIDY, whose album Songbird only achieved chart success after her death.
Most actors-turned-musicians end up going back to their day job after a disastrous crack at the music business. But I think Rob should let the public hear what he`s got.
