The 57-year-old supermodel - who has three children from her four marriages - insists her acrimonious divorce from fourth spouse Peter Cook in 2008 has made her feel the institution is "ridiculous" and put her off walking down the aisle again.
Christie - who split from Peter after he admitted being unfaithful and later accused him of using "overwhelming" force with her children - said: "I can now say unequivocally I would never get married again. There`s absolutely no reason to.
"I learnt in my divorce that marriage is ridiculous. You take a vow but you don`t get brownie points when you honour your vow and the other person doesn`t.
"The court doesn`t recognise that. It`s like, `All right now, let`s see how we`re going to divvy up the kids.` Well, obviously, the one that didn`t break the vows should be the role model, but no.` "
Despite her stance on marriage, Christie hasn`t ruled out falling in love again.
She told Stella magazine: "You`ve gotta believe there are truly compassionate, kind, great people out there. Who also happen to be extremely funny.
"It`s getting harder and I`m a little more wary but I look at my parents, they`ve been together forever and are still madly in love."
