The prime-minister of Russia Michael Fradkov said about this idea in his interview in the factory "Energy" named Korolev.

Referring to the topic about space tourism Fradkov said in space people feel something wonderful. As he informed there a huge line of people who want to fly in space as tourists. But a lot of people can?t go because requirements on health are really high.

Fradkov informed that the government will pay more attention to the field of space.

The prime-minister emphasized on the fact that the government takes into consideration the question about increasing financial help in the space field. Fradkov also said that the amount of money given to invent the spaceship Kliper" can increase if this project comes out profitable.

The factory "Energy" which invented the spaceship showed the model of the nonexpendable spaceship "Kliper" in the end of 2004. In comparison with the spaceship "Soyuz", "Kliper" can make maneuvers on the orbit and can take 6 people on board instead of 3 and can take loads with the weight of 700kgs instead of 200kgs. The length of the new spaceship is 10meters, the diameter - 3,5m, the weight - 13tons (it?s twice bigger than "Soyuz"). The new spaceship can be used not only for taking people to the orbit station but also for the expedition to Mars. The duration of the flight of "Kliper" - 15 days.
