The 32-year-old singer - who announced he was gay shortly after winning UK talent show `Pop Idol` in 2002 - has admitted he is "very broody" and would like to have children, although he doesn`t expect it to happen until he finds a long-term partner.
He told Mail Online: "I`m very broody and I really want kids, but I don`t think it will happen until I?m into my 40s and in a long-term relationship.
"This job can make you very self-absorbed and I?d love to do something less selfish. I like the idea of doing the school run and then going home to write a song."
The `Changes` hitmaker is looking for love but he doesn`t want to rush the process, preferring to wait until "the time is right".
He added: "I`m ready for a new relationship, but it will happen when the time is right."
Will has previously admitted he wasn`t a very "sexual" person until he reached his late 20s and revealed he was "terrified" of being homosexual.
He explained: "I was terrified of being gay so I didn`t really feel sexual until I was about 26.
"I wasn`t really having sex, so I was quite inhibited. I feel like I`ve reached a place that I`m happy with, worked out things I will never do. It`s taken me years to work that out."
