The `House of Lies` star is expecting her first child with fiance Dax Shepard and as she discussed her car-fanatic partner`s excitement about "all the off-roading he`ll have in this tiny partner," she was asked if the traditionally-masculine pursuit meant she was having a son.
She replied: "Maybe?"
She then added to TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "Do you have to be a boy to off-road? Absolutely not! I think he`s going to force [the baby], even if it`s a sloth, to off-road."
The 32-year-old actress also admitted she is open to taking all the pain relief she is offered when she goes into labour.
She said: "I`ve got nothing to prove [by having a natural birth].
"I feel like, when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back and I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it`s over because I`ve seen the videos - and it looks terrifying."
And Kristen also spoke of her pride in her looks at the moment, admitting she feels more attractive than ever.
She said: "I look in the mirror and I think it`s the reverse body dysmorphia because I can understand what my shape is, but I see Brooke Shields. And it doesn`t make a lick of sense, but it`s something that the baby`s giving me hormonally makes me feel really giggly and happy."
