One of the main folk singers of the United States, Creator of the "anti-war anthem" and left activist Pete Seeger died on Monday on 95-th year of life in the city Bacon of the state of new York, where he lived in the last years, informs The New York Times referring to the grandson of the bard Katamu Cahill-Jackson.
He told the publication that Seeger died at Presbyterian hospital in new York from natural circumstances.
Better known as "American Troubadour", Seeger is a key figure in the revival of folk music in the USA, and also the ancestor of the songs of protest.
