As a result of special operation in Khasavyurt accomplished by forces of Russian and Dagestan Ministries of Internal Affairs, a so called "commander of North front of Ichkeria Army" Lechi Eskiev has been annihilated, reported the Russian Ministries of Internal Affairs.
According to their data, the killed bandit was an organizer of many terrorists attacks, including ones on Dagestan territory. "Two active members of illegal bandits formations have been also annihilated in the course of special operations".
One of the militiamen has been injured during the operation.
"The wounded militiaman is in hospital, his life is not under threat", informed the Ministry of Internal Affair officials.
Meanwhile the acting head of Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affair press-service, reported, that on provisional data, four bandits annihilated in the course of two special operations in Khasavyurt.
