The Russian foreign Ministry requires Euronews apology
The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia on its own page on Facebook demanded Euronews refutation of false information and public apologies.
This reaction was caused by the article of the channel, which were erroneously transferred the words of foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov conditionally sending humanitarian support to the South-East of Ukraine.
In the news on the website of the TV channel has been said that the Minister of foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov contradicted himself, explaining the sending of humanitarian support. In article Euronews also indicated that pre-Lavrov wanted to move the cargo of humanitarian aid from cars MES in a machine of the red cross, and then said that the domestic trucks hang Ukrainian rooms. "The head of the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at first claimed that humanitarian aid will be overload on the border of emergency response vehicles in a machine of the red cross, but then said that Kyiv agree just to hang on Russian trucks Ukrainian rooms", published on the Euronews website.
The Russian foreign Ministry resumed the chronology of events, backed confirmation links. "We took note of all the requests of the Ukrainian side...agreed on that on our trucks appeared Ukrainian rooms for travel time in the area of Ukraine..." - says on the web site.
"At the stage of negotiations with the Ukrainian side, the question was raised about how to restart the load from all 287 trucks in those who must rent the ICRC. For conclusive reasons against this idea, they refused for the following reasons it will only add complexity and costs the implementation of humanitarian action", - says the statement Lavrov on the website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs.
Recall that on August 12 from Naro-Fominsk on Ukraine went trucks that are carrying food, medicines and drinking water.
