It is noted that currently the Zaporizhzhya NPP has concentrated all forces and means for issuing a maximum power in order to compensate for nedorabotka thermal stations. Early withdrawal of the unit from the planned recovery means that the country will receive an additional kilowatt-hours of electricity required for the life of Ukraine. Currently in Ukraine occur electricity blackouts because of lack of capacity.

The duration of the recovery was 96 days. For such a long time due to the implementation of the planned activities associated with the prolongation of the life of the unit. Design lifetime of the first block will End on December 23, 2015.
