For Eastern Ukraine introduced a state of emergency

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers announced that the power enters the regime of high alert. "We decided inter alia to declare a state of emergency in the areas of Luhansk and Donetsk regions", - stated the head of the Ukrainian government.

Note that a state of emergency in Ukraine can be introduced by a presidential decree, which is subject to approval by the Verkhovna Rada for 2 days after treatment, but in exceptional cases, the President may declare a state of emergency without preventing. "In terms of requiring the necessary measures to save the population or to prevent the death of the inhabitants of our planet, a state of emergency may be introduced without notice", - stated in the law on the legal regime of state of emergency.

"A state of emergency in Ukraine can be entered for a maximum of 30 days and not more than 60 days in some areas", - was stated in the law. However, the introduction of similar provisions entails the establishment of a special regime of entry and exit, as well as restriction of freedom of maneuver in the area where you enter a state of emergency, restrictions on the movement of vehicles and their inspection, tightening the protection of public order and objects, providing the support of the population and national economy. Additionally, according to Ukrainian legislation, on the territory where it operates a state of emergency should not engage in group activities and strikes.
