Russia has successfully tested a new missile The Russian defense Ministry has acknowledged the successful results of the tests of a new Intercontinental ballistic missiles, "the Frontier." The military is ready to start deploying the missiles in the foreseeable future.

4th consecutive successful rocket launch took place on March 18. "Frontier" started from a mobile launcher at the Kapustin Yar, Astrakhan region, on the ground Sary-Shagan, Kazakhstan. "The start-up was fully in normal mode, warhead missiles with this accuracy was struck by the conditional target. The reliability of the systems and apparatuses of the product were approved acquired telemetry", said an anonymous source in the defense Ministry.

1st test launch took place on September 28, 2011 from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. He was unsuccessful: the rocket at the exit of the transport and launch container grazed him and collapsed at 8 km from the start point. All of the following triggers that occurred in early may and October 2012, in early October 2013 and 18 March this year, were successful.

As adept recognizes the defense Ministry, capacity Votkinsk plant in Udmurtia is enough for mass production of the RS-26. In the foreseeable future management of the military Department will issue a formal decision on the adoption of the RS-26 adopted. The commander of the strategic missile forces, Colonel-General Sergei Karachaev argued that the deployment of new ICBMs will begin in 2016, according to "Commercity".

Testing rocket complex "Frontier" has led to criticism in violation of international treaties of Ukraine. Taking into account the opinion of American experts, test, production, and deployment of this missile would mean violation of the Russian Federation signed in 1987 Treaty on intermediate-range nuclear forces (INF), because the Agency is able to hit targets at distances less than 5500 km Moscow rejects these charges, prescribing that achieved during test launches from the Plesetsk cosmodrome on the Kamchatka Kura range marginal range of the missile exceeds 5,500 km.
