Borzakovsky heads to the World Cup Yuri Borzakovsky talks about his preparations for the coming World Cup in Osaka.

Olympic champion managed to beat his opponents at the Moscow Cup and IAAF World Athletic Tour though the rivalry among the athletes was very fierce.

The Russian?s next objective is the World Championship which will take place in Osaka.

Borzakovsky visited America some time ago however this trip gave some negative effect on the athlete?s performance.

Nonetheless this didn?t influence the Russian star?s results as he managed to take the first places at the recent tournaments.

"I am satisfied with my journey to America since it helped me to distract from my everyday problems", said Borzakovsky to Sport Express.

"On my returning home I felt normal for several days but then I stumble in my progress."

"I will have to get through the qualification for the World Cup and I think it is absolutely fair."

"However if I get free from qualification I wouldn?t be disappointed."

"This would make me happy but the final decision is up to the Federation bosses."

"The coming World Cup is to be tough since the question of the time-difference will be of major significance for me."

"I am to compete in Europe and then to go to Japan so it would be important to adapt to the difference in time zones."

"That is why we will make for Vladivostok two or three weeks before the start of the competition."

"As usual my first task will be the final."

"There is only one year before the Olympic games in Beijing since I don?t know who will be my major rivals there."

"But at the same time I am sure the rivalry will be fierce because Chinese athletes are dangerous enough."
