Maria Kniazeva. The Council of the EU blessed granting Ukraine the 3rd macro-financial assistance package for 1, 8 billion euros, according to a report to Council.

"The Council adopted March 31, 2015, a Decision allowing a maximum of 1, 8 billion euros of further macro-financial assistance to Ukraine ", - said in the report.

This Decision does not change the proposals of the European Commission dated 8 January 2015. The European Parliament adopted the proposal of the European Commission, no change 25 March 2015, according to the release.

The decision to act on the third day after the publication in the published journal.

Funds will be allocated in the form of loans in three tranches. They have the opportunity to be granted for the past 2 and a half years up to fifteen years. Conclusion on the allocation of funds will be taken by the European Commission, the transfer credits will be depending on the fulfillment of the conditions of the " Memorandum of understanding ", which must be agreed by Ukraine and the EC.

The Memorandum will establish a "well-defined economic policy and financial rules, concentrating on structural reforms and sound public finances," according to the report.
