Germany will give Ukraine a loan of five hundred million euros for the restoration of the Donbass
The government of Germany and Ukraine signed the Declaration on the granting of the last loan in the amount of five hundred million euros, shall be notified to the Internet office of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the government of Ukraine has authorized Deputy Prime Minister Gennady Zubko to sign the Memorandum. Before the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine and Germany have plans before April 1, to conclude an agreement on the allocation in support of the Ukrainian party of five hundred million euros. And among them was declared that 200 million will be allocated for macroeconomic support.

"The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of understanding between the government of Ukraine and the government of the Federal Republic of Germany in respect of incorrect financial loan framework agreement between government of Ukraine and the credit institution (KfW) on granting individual loans totaling up to five hundred million euros was held in Berlin on Wednesday, 1 April," according to the report.

According to Zubko, funds will be used for restoration and modernization of the Eastern part of Ukraine, among them the new construction, restoration, overhaul and modernization of the infrastructure of any form of ownership in the fields of transport, energy and heat, energy efficiency, water supply, sanitation, social infrastructure, rehabilitation and construction of housing.

"These funds will support for Ukraine - both in the East and the West," he said.

In accordance with the signed documents to individual loans will be used to pay for projects in the territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Kharkiv oblasts and other regions of Ukraine, where a large number of registered internally displaced persons.
