Ukraine needs to make an effective missile shield for the defense of the country, said Secretary of the state security Council and defence of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov, at a press conference on Thursday, presenting the strategy of national security of Ukraine till 2020.

"The detail of these programmes (in the framework of the strategy - ed.) is a state secret, in any case, they will focus on what, for example, relates to an effective missile shield our country," Turchynov said.
