The state Duma on the last working day of the week was taken in the 2nd and 3rd readings of the Law, according to which the state until 2018 will adjust the price for the carriage of passengers, baggage, vehicles and trains on ships between the ports of the Crimea and the Krasnodar territory.

Crimea became a Russian region after the referendum in March 2014. From Russia, the Peninsula is separated by the Strait of Kerch, and get to Crimea by land route only through Ukraine. The Russian authorities intend to build a bridge across the Kerch Strait to approximately 2021. The law regulates the relations connected with the state regulation of prices (tariffs) for services on transportation of passengers, Luggage, vehicles, railway rolling stock between the sea ports of the Crimea and Sevastopol and seaports of Krasnodar region, and associated with such additional transportation services at government controlled prices.

The prices regulation will implement the FTS of Russia through the establishment of prices, as well as their maximum level. The prices for services in transportation and related additional service will be set differentially subject to the conditions of these transportation services. If so be they will be at the rates subject to state regulation, until 1 January 2018.
