The Verkhovna Rada on Thursday adopted a Law banning the Communist and the national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and their symbolism. The law also provides that the propaganda of the Communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes and their symbolism is a legal person, a political party, printed mass media is the basis for refusal of registration and stop their activities.

on the same day the Parliament passed a Law recognizing "the Organization of Ukrainian nationalists and the Ukrainian insurgent army" fighters for independence of Ukraine in the twentieth century and provided the right of members of the OUN-UPA to social guarantees.

Batenko concerned that the Law allows the parties and the print media with Communist and/or the national socialist (Nazi) symbols and propaganda to continue its activities, unless within one month will be changes in the constituent documents.
