The Parliament of Ukraine is obliged not later than fifteen July to approve a law on decentralization of public administration in the country, said the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groisman.

Adopted by the contact group on settling the situation in Donbas on 12 February, the Complex of measures on execution of the Minsk agreements suggests that, to a final resolution of the conflict situation in Ukraine should be prepared and carried out constitutional reform, which should be a deep decentralization of public administration.

Ukrainian authorities earlier had created a constitutional Commission, which will develop changes to the main law of the country. A key issue in its work will be changes aimed at decentralization of Power.

The main legal Department of the Verkhovna Rada commissioned to create the appropriate calendar work plan, to 12 may, the working group met to discuss the text of the bill. Then the working group should propose for the consideration of the Constitutional Commission, the next meeting which is scheduled for may 13, the draft report of changes to the Constitution.

Groysman said correlated the draft law on decentralization of Power in Ukraine must be ready by may 13.
