MOE: the radiation background at Kursk region after the fire at the Chernobyl NPP in the norm
Background radiation within the Kursk region after a major forest fire in the area of the Chernobyl exclusion remains stable and does not raise any concerns, informs the regional Glaucus.

The fire broke out in the Chernobyl exclusion area In prosesi Tuesday on an area of about 400 hectares. To destroy it attracted more than 300 people and 51 of the vehicles, as well as among them airplanes and helicopters. Ukrainian authorities claimed that the situation was under control, and Rescuers said that the Fire did not threaten the Shelter, erected above the emergency power unit of Chernobyl.
