Secretary of Russian security Council Nikolai Patrushev said that Russia corrects the state security strategy to 2020 and the doctrine of information security taking into account the new military dangers in the world. He explained that similar measures connected with the birth hazards after the events of the "Arab spring" in Syria and Iraq, and the situation in Ukraine and around it.

"In order to update the conceptual foundations of national security by the decision of the security Council of Russia started work on the adjustment of key strategic planning documents - the strategy of national security of Russia until 2020 and theory of information security of Russia" - quoted Patrushev RIA Novosti.

According to him, this is due to the emergence of new military threats after a series of negative events that have happened around the world. Among other things he emphasized that the last few years there has been a recent trend of shifting the military dangers and threats in the information space.

"In the struggle of the leading countries for their own interests stereotyped steel "indirect action", the use of protest potential of the population, radical and extremist organizations, private military firms. Actively conducting events for deploying large-scale missile defense system," - said the head of the security Council.

Recall that in early December 2014, Russia adopted a new edition of military theory. Its main provisions remain the same, with all of this in the document first appeared paragraphs about the security interests in the Arctic, allied relations with Abkhazia and South Ossetia, also about the danger of foreign private military firms.
