The Council of national security and defense of Ukraine approved the strategy for the security of the state until 2020.

"The strategy is to be implemented until 2020 policy priorities of state security, as well as reforms envisaged in the Agreement on unity between Ukraine and the EU and a Strategy for sustainable development" Ukraine - 2020 ", - is informed in the report of the press service of the NSDC.

As noted, the main focus of the strategy is the development of a new system of state security and defence, able to guarantee the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine from the entire range of possible threats, most importantly, from armed aggression.

in addition, at the meeting of the national security Council considered the question of strengthening of defensibility of the country and the adoption of additional measures to provide security. The press service stressed that the meeting analyzed the military danger and possible scenarios for the development of the situation, " processed operational measures to counter military aggression ".
