The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the strategy of national security of the country was designed to achieve compatibility with NATO countries that in the future Ukraine could qualify for membership in the organization for security guarantees.

"The goal of the project (strategy) is to achieve full compatibility of the security sector and defense of Ukraine with relevant agencies of NATO countries. It's bound to provide the opportunity to purchase in the future prospects of membership in order to obtain efficient safeguards the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine ", - said Poroshenko, speaking in Parliament on the last working day of the week.
