The CPU requires to make an examination of the law on prohibition of communism
The leader of the Communist party of Ukraine (CPU) Petro Symonenko asked in a persistent form novel examination of anti-discrimination law banning Communist ideology and symbolism, is notified on the Internet representation of the party on Tuesday.

The Verkhovna Rada had passed a law banning the Communist and the national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and their symbolism. This act has not yet entered into force because not signed by the President. The document caused a great resonance in society, because it has not been clearly written by the boundaries of its use. For example, on assurances of experts, under the ban could get not only the symbols of Communist power, but also, in particular, orders and medals of veterans on which they were painted.
