Adopted in Ukraine, the law On decommunization threatens freedom of expression in the country, said the Commissioner of the OSCE on freedom of the media Dunja Mijatovic.




"Defenders of freedom of expression and the media has discouraged the entry of this law into force, despite repeated calls to protect these basic rights," said Mijatovic, RIA " Novosti ". At the same time, the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada voted for the adoption of the act on condemnation of the Communist regime in Ukraine. April 30 elected officials have sent a draft law to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
