Ukraine denounced the Treaty with Russia on the protection of proprietary information
The Parliament of Ukraine adopted a Law on denunciation of the Treaty with Russia on mutual protection of proprietary information.
Such a decision at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada supported 261 MP When the required minimum of 226 votes. The intergovernmental agreement was signed on 2 December 2000 in the capital of Russia, and ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine fifteen November 2001, reports RIA " Novosti ".



"The purpose of the law is to protect national interests, the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine ", - is written in an explanatory paper to the document. The bill still must be signed by the head of Ukraine. It is planned that it will take effect from the day following the day of its promulgation in the official media. In addition, Rada denounced the Treaty between Ukraine and Russia on cooperation in the field of military intelligence. The specialists said that the refusal to cooperate with Russia in the military-industrial complex almost completely deprive Kiev of military industry. So, from the cessation of military-technical cooperation with Russia, Ukraine will lose a lot more.
