Observers Special monitoring mission (SMM) of the OSCE in Ukraine has recorded a significant increase in cases of violation of ceasefire regime in the village of Shirokino, and also emphasized the presence of heavy weapons in government-controlled territory, reported in the daily report, released on Thursday.

near the village of Shirokino OSCE Observers recorded more than 200 explosions, and also stated about the presence of six 100-mm anti-tank guns MT-12 and six main battle tanks T-64 in areas controlled by Ukrainian government.

"Despite claims about the complete withdrawal of heavy weapons, the SMM Observers recorded the movement/presence of weapons in areas that violate the consensus on the withdrawal line according to the Minsk agreements ", - said in the report released on Thursday.

The village Shirokino is currently one of the hotspots of Donbass. It is located on the shore of the Azov sea between Mariupol (controlled by security officers) and Novoazovsk (controlled by the militia DND). In early February Shirokino was occupied by soldiers of the Ukrainian battalion " Azov ". Since then, the two sides continue in this area of so-called artillery and mortar duels.
