International human rights organization Amnesty international published a report about the facts of torture of prisoners in Ukraine, calling on the leadership of both parties to the conflict put an end to such lawlessness.

in a 36-page report on human rights defenders States that " prisoners are beaten to fractures, tortured with a Taser, causing a stab of health damage, hang, hold without sleep, threatened with death and denied medical care ".

"it said more than 30 prisoners who were on both sides of the conflict, they were beaten and subjected imitation of the death penalty," said the Director of Amnesty international for Europe and Central Asia John Dalhuisen. According to his statement, these facts constitute war crimes.

Pro-Kiev and separatist forces are obliged to put an end to these crimes and to make clear to his men about the consequences of poor treatment of prisoners under international laws, " said Dalhuisen.

Human rights activists stressed that their report is based on testimony from 17 military who were held captive by armed supporters of DNR and LNR, and 16 of the militia who were in the thrall of employees of the Ukrainian army.
