Prime Minister of Finland: Georgia has a chance to receive visa-free travel in 2016
Georgia has a chance to receive visa-free regime with the European Union in the coming year, subject to conditions, said on the last working day of the week, Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb before the beginning of the second day of the summit "Eastern partnership" in Riga.

"If the rules are adhered to, without a doubt, we will move in this direction," said Stubb, answering the questions of reporters.

The summit of "Eastern partnership" held on may 21-22 in Riga. It involves the head of States and governments of EU countries and countries included in the program.

The program "Eastern partnership" includes political Association and economic integration of the EU with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The last 3 countries last year signed the Association agreement with the EU partnership.

first, the European Commission presented a report on the performance of Kiev and Tbilisi in order to liberalize the visa regime. Review Commission, Ukraine and Georgia have made significant progress towards the abolition of visas, but they still are expected to do for visa liberalisation lot of work in different areas. The EC also stated that Ukraine and Georgia will not be offered a visa-free regime with EU at Riga summit of the Eastern partnership.
