The police brought 24 cases concerning employees of the state border service of Ukraine for the first 3 months of the year, said the head of the state border service of Ukraine Viktor Nazarenko.




"Only during the first quarter of this year in the units of the state border service have been documented and included in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations 24 criminal offences committed by personnel of the Agency," - said Nazarenko in conversation the parliamentary newspaper " Voice of Ukraine ". He added that corruption had caught five officials of bodies of protection of the state observation, adds RIA " Novosti ". We will add that in early April the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has increased the state border service on 3 thousand to 53 thousand border Guards. In the explanatory note also says that the adoption of the law is necessary in connection with the situation in the East and the separation of Crimea from Ukraine, what we must take steps to resume monitoring at the border.
