The mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Kernes at the meeting of the Kyiv district court of Poltava said about the involvement of the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov to attempt at it.
"Avakov has to do with the attempt of depriving me of life," said Kernes portal " Ukrainian news ".



Kernes has denied allegations of delaying the court as fraud cases. Before the Mayor of Kharkiv dismissed against him by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine charges in the kidnapping and beating of active participants of euromaidan and called the case against him was falsified. Remember, a case under the criminal code on the mayor of Kharkiv was opened in March 2014 on suspicion of threatening liquidation, torture and kidnapping. Kernes said that the case against him under the criminal code falsified the head of the MIA of Ukraine Arsen Avakov. On April 28 of the same year, Kernes was assassinated: he received a small wound in the back, the bullet had nicked a lung and liver, also damaged the spine. After surgery, the Mayor returned to work. In July Kernes said he did not believe in Russian trace in the case of the attempt on his life, he felt guilty Avakov and the head of Kharkiv regional state administration of Igor Balota. In the last month of summer Avakov said that the trial against the head of Kharkiv on suspicion of the threat of liquidation, torture and kidnapping resumed.
