Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said that work on construction of new surface vessels of the Navy of the Russian Federation because of the break with Ukraine ended only on a number of projects.

first on Wednesday, Rogozin said that the Russian Federation currently cannot build fresh surface ships for the Navy because of non-delivery by Ukraine for gas turbine engines.

Gas turbine engines of Ukrainian production are equipped with Russian frigates of project 11356, built for the black sea fleet. At break of military-technical cooperation with Russia, Ukraine supplied RF engines only for three of the six planned construction of ships.
