Famous motorcycle racer died in the Isle of man French racer Franck Petricola died in consequence of the tragedy during the qualifying heats race Isle of Man TT Races. This prestigious race is held on the roads of sharing in the Isle of man.

Last year Petricola suffered multiple fractures and a traumatic brain injury in an accident during the practice race the North West 200 in Northern Ireland. The Frenchman spent a few days in a coma and returned to race only a month ago. Note that Petricola became the 141st memorial race Isle of Man TT Races, which is held since 1907.

In the statement of the initiators of the race Isle of Man TT Races is told: "We regret to state that at approximately 19:45 local time, a 32-year-old French racer Franck Petricola from Pont-a-Mousson, died after the incident at the turn Salbi. Petricola was a multiple championship (IRRC, and the best in the League in 2013, finishing in 11th place in the category Superbike".

Racing car hit the stone wall, crashed into a tree and burst into flames. 31-year-old co-driver Jose Lumbreras not managed to extricate himself from the fire of the machine. The witnesses of the tragedy had to stand and look like an athlete burning to death. To save him was not possible.
