The head of the U.S. Department of defense Ashton Carter on the last working day of the week will convene a meeting in Germany with the participation of American military bureaucrats and diplomats would discuss strategy with respect to Russia.

As told the Agency on condition of non-disclosure of an official from the U.S. trade delegation, behind closed doors, Commissioners will gather the generals, ambassadors of the USA in European countries and certain other employees of the foreign Ministry and army leaders.

The participants will evaluate the economic effectiveness of punishments and steps to deter Russia, which the U.S. side accuses of involvement in the Ukrainian conflict.

the meeting will also discuss the issue of providing additional military support to countries in the European region.

according to the source, the decision on any immediate actions will not be accepted. The head of the Department of defense will use the conclusions of the negotiations, for further consultations with the White house. The meeting will also gather the necessary information before the upcoming meeting of the defense Ministers of NATO countries.
