Poroshenko has defined rules for the internment of citizens of Russia
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law On the legal regime of martial law, which, for example, provides for the internment of Russian citizens residing within the country.
"Measures of the legal regime of martial law is legal, for example, is:... the internment (compulsory settlement) Residents of a foreign country that threatens an attack or aggression against Ukraine ", - is written in an explanatory paper to the law, reports the news Agency.
On 12 may, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted in the General law " On legal regime of martial law ". As highlighted in the document, " martial law is a special legal regime, which is introduced in Ukraine or in its particular territories in the event of armed aggression or threat, a threat to state independence of Ukraine and its territorial integrity ". Martial law can be introduced after the Verkhovna Rada will adopt the corresponding decree of the President of the country, the document says.
