The Verkhovna Rada has enacted laws on the abolition of military agreements with the Russian Federation. The decision will come into force on the day after publication, in other words on June 11.

So, after the procedure, parliamentary discussion and signing by the President, the Verkhovna Rada published in an official newspaper of the Ukrainian Parliament, abolishing the military agreements between Kiev and Moscow, reports RIA Novosti. The local configuration will take on 11 June.

According to the decision of the Verkhovna Rada and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko Kiev refuses to cooperate with Moscow in areas such as military intelligence, military organization of international shipping, and payments for them, also for the mutual protection of classified information. This, eventually, will affect the defense of the Ukraine.

Experts, however, believe that the greatest danger lurks in cancellation of the current agreement on transit through the territory of Ukraine military units of Russia, at the time found themselves on the territory of Moldova. As expected, similar unconstructive position may lead to a new aggravation of the situation in Transnistria.

Earlier, the head of the foreign Ministry of the unrecognized Republic of Transnistria Nina Shtanski announced that similar decision Ukraine blurs own guarantor status for the Transnistrian settlement. Termination of the contract on the transit of Russian peacekeepers in the foreign Ministry dubbed the disturbing signal, which needs to pay attention not only in Transnistria.

Domestic side, meanwhile, stressed that will provide its own peacekeeping forces in Transnistria everyone needs even under the condition of non-cooperation on the part of Kiev. Now in the unrecognized Republic are international peacekeeping force, of which 402 - Patriotic military, 492 Transnistrian, 355 Moldovan, 10 military observers from Ukraine.

In Transnistria, about 60% of the population are Russians and Ukrainians. Even before the collapse of the USSR in the region began to seek to secede from Moldova, expressing concerns that she may join Romania. In 1992 the authorities powers attempted to solve the problem by force. Then, Transnistria has almost become a territory outside the control of Chisinau.
