The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin addressed to the Secretary General of the Interpol Junger Stock a petition to review a decision to refuse to declare in the international wanted list of former high position bureaucrats and law enforcement officers of Ukraine, informs the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's office on the last working day of the week.

Ukrainian police sought an international investigation of former bureaucrats and 19 soldiers of the detachment of special purpose " Berkut ", who are accused of the premeditated murder of 39 protesters during the protests on the Maidan in Kiev. However, Interpol does not represent them in the investigation, because such cases are politically motivated.
