The day of naval forces in Ukraine now will celebrate the first Sunday of July instead of the last Sunday of this month, reported in a statement released on the last working Day of the week the decree of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

Until then, Ukraine celebrated the Day of the Navy on the last Sunday in July, according to the presidential decree of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. Date of this holiday in Ukraine has changed many times since the coming to power of some other President.

So, Viktor Yushchenko as President, decided to celebrate this feast on the first Sunday of July, Yanukovych in 2011 on the last Sunday of July, aligned in time with the celebration of the day of Navy of the Russian Federation.
