Baku, Jun 14 - R-Sport, Oleg Bogatov. Russian Greco-Roman wrestler Davit Chakvetadze became the winner of the European games in Baku in the weight category up to 85 kilograms, at the same time winning the European title in 2015.

Chakvetadze in the decisive battle defeated the Ukrainian Jean Belenko- 3: 2 (2: 0, 1: 2).

The winners of bronze medals were the German Ramsin Asissi and Turks, Metehan Bassar.

The tournament will be held in Baku on June 12-28. Athletes will compete 253 sets of medals in 20 sports.
