The Ukrainian foreign Ministry expressed protest in connection with Medvedev The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses its protest against the visit of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Crimea, informs.

Medvedev on the first day of the week held in Crimea conference on the problems of small business development on the Peninsula. The meeting discussed the functioning of a free economic zone within the Crimean Federal district and the licensing of activity on transportation of passengers by small boats.

"the Ukrainian foreign Ministry expressed protest in connection with the stay at the time occupied by the Russian Federation the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the head of the Russian government Dmitry Medvedev ", - is informed in the report.

It is also noted that the stay Medvedev within the limits of Crimea is considered by the Ukrainian side as a " blatant disregard from the Russian authorities state sovereignty of Ukraine ".

Ukraine still considers Crimea its, but at the time occupied the territory at the end of January, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a communication in which Russia is called an aggressor. The Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has stated many times that the residents of the Crimea in a democratic way, in full accordance with international law and the Charter of the United Nations voted for reunification with Russia, respecting and accepting this choice, and this decision is the reality that ought to be considered.
