"Wholesale and retail prices on alcoholic beverages will be increased in 2 stages 25-40% ", - is informed in the report. Expected before the end of the summer the minimum wholesale price of vodka and liqueur-vodka products in terms of 1 liter of 100% alcohol with 133 hryvnia (six dollars) will rise to 160 UAH (7, $ 3), and from September to 176 UAH (eight dollars). The Minimum retail prices for alcoholic beverages per 1 liter of 100% alcohol will rise from 199, 5 hryvnia (9, 09 dollar) to 249, 5 hryvnia (11, $ 3), then up to 274, 5 hryvnia (12, $ 5).



After increasing the price of the cheapest bottle of vodka with a volume of 0, 5 l will have value since September 55 UAH (2, 5 dollars), whisky - 109 UAH (five dollars), brandy - 94 hryvnia (4, $ 3). As explained by the Ministry of Finance, the current Minimum prices were introduced in June 2014." Their level, taking into account the increase in inflation and the devaluation of the hryvnia, do not reflect actual costs of subjects of the market for the manufacture and trade of alcoholic beverages. Minimum prices do not reflect the increase of excise tax rates, energy prices, raw material and other components of prices, " argued the necessity of increasing prices, the Ministry of Finance.
