Rescue workers have begun to clear the area tank farm " BRSM-nafta ", which was burning under the Kiev, from stain of oil, informs on Thursday a press-service gschs of Ukraine.

"in place to reduce cleaning time of a reservoir is determined by a special equipment for the production of expanded graphite. Currently Rescuers proceeded to clean the oil depot territory "BRSM-nafta" from the spot of petroleum products, as well as among them on the surface of the fire reservoir ", - is informed in the report.

During the first time for cleaning water from oil products Rescuers used a sorbent on the basis of thermally expanded graphite, which absorbs the oil.

The fire at the oil depot "BRSM-Oil" in the village Cracki Vasilkovsky area occurred on June 8 and was finally redeemed only on 16 June. Upon ignition of several criminal cases, among the causes of the fire are considered, among them negligence of employees, arson and sabotage. For final reports, four people died on the spot, one died in hospital.
