Swimmer Egorova brought the national team of Russia 50th gold medal of the Games in Baku
Baku, 24 Jun - R-Sport. A citizen of Russia Polina Egorova won in the women's 200-meter backstroke at the European Games in Baku, winning for team of the Russian Federation 50th gold medal of the competition.

Egorova swam the distance in 2 eleven minutes, 23 seconds ahead at 0, fifteen seconds German Maxine Walters. The winner of the bronze award was Marina Kolesnikova ( 0, 68 seconds) from Ukraine.

This gold award was the 50th for citizens of Russia for the Games in Baku, which will end on June 28. Russian national team continues to lead in the medal standings (50 gold, 28 silver and 25 bronze medals). In 2nd place was the Team of Azerbaijan (14-11-14).
